The BBC Newsreader Zeb Soanes has forged an unlikely friendship with a local urban fox which has since earned the title of ‘the handsomest fox in London’. The Newsreader’s furry friend goes by the name of Gaspar and even has his own Twitter account
Zeb Soanes states on his website;
Gaspard, The Handsomest Fox in London came to visit me one day with an injured leg. I fed him, he recovered and has continued to call ever since, often when he hears the sound of my bicycle returning from work. His photos were so popular on Twitter that the Mail on Sunday created a brief moment of infamy – but Gaspard has taken it all in his stride.
Despite Gaspard having amassed an impressive 3600 followers, it wasn’t always plain sailing, with the Radio presenter facing criticism from his neighbours for feeding the fox and allowing Gaspard to sit upon his doorstep. However in recent months the relationship between the pair have gone from strength to strength.
To the delight of Zeb and his followers, Gaspard brought home 4 cubs, of which one is pictured below:
